Community

We at Elk Hills Power care about the local community and do our part to make it a better place to live, work and play. Here are a few examples of our service to the Taft community:

• C.A.R.E. Center
  Our team of 23 employees volunteered through United Way to help give a facelift to the C.A.R.E Center in Taft, an agency that serves disadvantaged families.
• Math & Science Alliance
  In partnership with local schools, Elk Hills Power launched the Math & Science Alliance to help support the efforts of math and science teachers, and to energize classroom activities.

As a subsidiary of Sempra Generation, our parent company, Sempra Energy , administers our Community Partnership Program. If you have a program you would like considered for support, please review our guidelines and then apply for funding.
