Education

We give preference to educational efforts that focus on math and science in grades K-12. We also embrace programs for young people that foster the use of new technology, promote achievement and help keep kids in school.

Some of our community partnerships in education include:

Nevada

• Living it up at the Library: In partnership with the city of Boulder City and the brand-new Boulder City Library, Sempra Energy's sponsorship of the "Living it up the Library" series, provides for summer and spring outdoor family concerts in tandem with book fairs and story telling.
  
• Boulder City High School "Math & Science" Lab: A partnership with the high school to underwrite new educational software and equipment that for use in both in-school and adult education, after-school programs.
