Education

We give preference to educational efforts that focus on math and science in grades K-12. We also embrace programs for young people that foster the use of new technology, promote achievement and help keep kids in school.

Some of our community partnerships in education include:

Arizona

• Mesquite Power Sempra Scholars Award: A scholarship program with with Buckeye Union High School that awards students with $1,000 scholarships toward their higher education.
  
• Sempra Energy Power Zone: A school-based incentive program in partnership with the Arizona Cardinals that honors student achievement both on and off the "school" field.
