- Catoctin Power. This proposed 600 megawatt (MW) natural gas-fired power plant in Buckeystown, Md., is on the Eastalco Aluminum Co. smelter site. The project has received the permits required for construction and operation.
- Copper Mountain Power. The proposed 600 MW Copper Mountain Power generating plant has received all key permits. It would be built next to the El Dorado Energy plant about 17 miles southwest of Boulder City, Nev.
- La Rumorosa Wind Power. The proposed 250 MW project would generate power from as many as 125 wind turbines to be installed in La Rumorosa, Mexico, about 70 miles southeast of San Diego. The project is expected to be operational by mid- to late 2010.
